Anna de Jong

Anna de Jong is a geographer, who is fascinated with how people make sense of identity, space and culture. As a doctoral candidate in Human Geography at the University of Wollongong, her research explores travel, belonging, history, sexuality and politics through the exploration of people’s journeys to the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival. While a geographer, her research emerges from training across the disciplines of geography and philosophy.
