Patrick Shirvington

Patrick Shirvington is a visual artist whose practice has seen him spend countless hours studying the natural environment. His work takes the idea of Phenomenology, applying it to the natural world, inviting the viewer to investigate their connection to the wonders of the cosmos. Having furthered his enquiry through post-graduate study with a Masters Degree in Cross-Disciplinary Art & Design, University of New South Wales (UNSW), Shirvington is utilising collaboration as a tool for further possibilities.

Shirvington has exhibited both nationally and internationally having taken part in over thirty solo exhibitions including the Kendumba Drawing Award; the Archibald Prize; Tattersalls Landscape Award, Hawkesbury Regional Gallery; ARBOREAL, Macquarie University Gallery; Adelaide Perry Prize for Drawing and Fleurieu Biennale Landscape Prize.

Patrick is part of team Insula Natura
